This month we are reviewing a firm favourite in our household, the legendary, one and only, puzzle!!
We adore puzzles and have done since the boys were babes. We have wooden ones and cardboard ones, puzzles with alphabets, numbers, animals and so much more! What we haven’t seen though are the seriously stunning Australian designed Millions of Monkey puzzles from brand new Australian shop Puggle Post.
It is that time of year again when all the major kids fashion brands across the globe release their gorgeous new SS16 designs. I am so in love with all the collections I have seen and thought I would do a pick of my faves for you.
One of our all time faves, Gardner and the Gang releases their SS16 collection “Land of no difference” today (Eeep!). We adore the bright and playful prints that GG brings out each season. This one is no exception plus there may be a few models in there you recognise!
If you are a regular reader here, then you will know I am a HUGE supporter of Kickstarter and helping people realise their dreams. I get emails almost weekly from FAB upstarts and wish I had the time to blog about all of them, as ALL of them have done such a brilliant job in getting themselves a campaign going and fingers crossed success!
It was with serious excitement the other week that I find out via email that “The Smallest Tribe”, an inspiring Australian kids fashion label which I discovered at Finders Keepers last year in Sydney, had a Kickstarter campaign starting.
I am super excited and truly honored to show you some sneak peaks of the SS15 collection from one of my favourite kids clothing brands, Bandit Kids.
Hitting the kids fashion scene with well deserved fanfare earlier this year, they have gone from strength to strength. With 2 collections so far, showcasing some amazing artist collaborations with Emma Battaglia aka Pax and Hart and in house typographer/friend Ruben de Haas for AW15 and SS15, they are utterly rocking the world of kids fashion.
This season I think is arguably their best yet, and that is saying something as their last two collections have been beyond amazing.
Designed in Australia and made ethically in Indonesia, I can attest to the fantastic quality of each piece. They wash and wear oh so well. My eldest son adores his Bandit Kids clothing ( they make from ages 3+) and he chooses to wear them above all others.
So what is their SS15 “Kingdom of Cool” collection all about?
Do you remember those lazy summer days as a child where you didn’t really get up to much? Maybe you had a swim in your friends pool, rode your bike to the shops to get an ice cream, you climbed trees or you and your mate did the big hike to the beach in the sweltering heat?
Days were long, blisteringly hot and summer holidays stretched for hours, days and weeks. You longed for them never to end… Mix that summer vibe with cool pastel and retro neutral prints of palm trees, ice creams, parrots, flamingos and swimming pools and this is exactly where you find the “Kingdom of Cool” reigning supreme!
