Kids Activities – Kwik Stix – awesome mess free painting!

With the start of school this week in Australia, I thought I would get into the school mood with my next few posts!

I know a lot of parents don’t like to attempt too much art and craft at home because of the mess. They prefer to leave these messy creative activities to when the child is at preschool, day care or school so they don’t have to manage the mess themselves!

I totally get it as with toddlers in particular, after you have taken 15 minutes say to set up, they have painted their picture in 2 seconds and moved on to the next activity! Mummy, keep up, I have moved on from that paint session and now I want to play with blocks or lego or play dress ups…

Yep I totally understand it and find creative sessions can get messy and a little stressed filled with paint, water, sparkles or feathers flying all over the place.

So what would you say to a fun creative painting session with your child but completely mess free? Yup, uh huh, I am telling the truth here, no joke and its name is, wait for it, Kwik Stix!! Oh sorry did I mention it was quick too! Of course it is.

Kwik Stix are solid tempera paint sticks that dry in just 90 seconds. These AP certified, non toxic paints truly take the mess out of painting while keeping all of the fun! A win for parents the world over.

They come in the original size in assorted rainbow colour, metallic, neon and now also a new thinner version in all 3 colour ranges. The new thin stix are taller, thinner, naturally and can be used for more finer details like smiles and eyes.

You don’t even need cups of water, smocks or even paint brushes. Yes art sessions just got ultra easy!

All you need is paper, cardboard or even canvas and the Kwik Stix. Kwik Stix also work beautifully on wood too. They come in an assortment of colors including neon and metallic.

To see Kwik Stix in action, take a look at this quick YouTube video.

The entire Kwik Stix range are currently available on Amazon.com and in Australia the original and metallix range can be found at Pencil Grips.

So if you want to get creative and are pressed for time, then these are perfect. They allow mess free painting and the kids can still get their creative on! Total win in my books.
