Little Wuppy – worry puppy

I am not sure about you but these days I read more and more about kids suffering from anxiety and from quite a young age of 5 or 6. My heart breaks hearing that kids so young can be so crippled by this mental health illness.

So I love to hear about ways to help kids with their anxiety and mental health issues and to make it a subject that is talked about rather than a taboo topic.

Little Wuppy® has been created with just this issue in mind, helping young children get through their battles with anxiety as well as loneliness or dealing with the many changes going on around them.

Founder Linda has herself suffered from anxiety and as a former teacher she wanted to design an aid that would help ease children’s worries and to comfort them in times of stress, change or bullying.

All designed, and manufactured in Australia, this little sausage dog has a special embroidered red heart sewn on to it and when placed against a child’s heart, the child send their worries to the Little Wuppy® so they don’t have to worry anymore.

Linda has created 3 different designs, chevron, spotted and striped for her sausage dog worry pup and each comes in a pack and includes an adoption certificate, information card, cardboard box kennel, stickers to decorate the kennel, and a calico carry bag.

For more information please check out Little Wuppy® and if your child suffers from anxiety there are some great organisations like Youth Beyond Blue, Bravehearts, and Speld to help out.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this feature nor received any product, I just wanted to let you my readers know about this wonderful product that might help your child out in times of stress and worry.
