Myer’s Christmas Giftorium arrives

I have to say last Saturday was a pretty exciting day in the life of Hudson! We both had the utmost pleasure to attend Myer’s Christmas Giftorium, on behalf of Kids Business, an event showcasing their exciting range of gifts for all ages for the upcoming festive season.

H was so excited as he knew he was going to see Santa. Now this is rather amusing fact in itself, as for the past few years, he has cried his eyes out or refused to look at the camera or both!

But on arriving at the level 6 of Pitt St Myer, he was presented with a balloon and it was all happy faces from there.

The set up is fantastic, with nearly the whole floor dedicated to Christmas gifting and Santa’s grotto and a Santaland train up the back. It reminded me of seeing Santa when I was a child. It brought all the magic back and it was pure bliss seeing the smiles and delight on H’s face!

First up for us was a train ride on the Santaland express. I have to say I was a little disappointed it was only for kids! Then it was on to see the big man in red himself! He was one of the nicest Santa’s helpers we have met and was happy to have lots of photos and even photo bombed Hudson’s photo with the reindeer.

With the opening of the Christmas Giftorium by Kris Smith, alongside dancers and music galore, it was a wonderful spectacle befitting of the fantastic gift set up at Myer Pitt St.

Everyone is covered including those gifts for kids, him and her as well as a Christmas shop dedicated to the decorating the tree.

I think what topped off the day, if anything else possibly could, was the fact that this year’s Christmas Bear at Myer is called Hudson. Yep, he even got to take home a Santa bear with his namesake.

Santa, how on earth did you know!!

Thanks Myer and Kids Business for having us. It was a brilliant morning and with the gifting all on level alongside Santa and his train, it is a great place to take the kids and get in that spot of Christmas shopping all in one!
